Our BA Book Club had it’s second get together this past week, to chat about “Think Again” by Adam Grant.  Those who came and had read the book had already recommended this read to others.  We had some who had good intentions of reading the book but life got in the way.  That’s ok.  By the end of the conversation, we had them considering this book for a future read.  We leveraged discussion questions from the author himself and discovered the difference between a hard copy book and an e-book when it came to the additional nuances of the visual content of the book.  We also continued our practice of relating the book to the BABOK Underlying Competencies (or as it is affectionately known as, “Book Club Bingo”).  Gary B was the winner of our door prize (he will receive a copy of the March book club selection, on us.)

March’s pick is “surrounded by idiots” by Thomas Erikson.  Did this get picked for the title alone?  No, but it was the reason I picked up the book.  What I saw inside made it clear this will be a good add to our Underlying Competencies collection.

I hope you will consider joining us the last Thursday in March for our next BA Book Club session.  Hope to see you there.
