Alec Lumsden

Alec Lumsden, CBAP®, is a Senior Business Analyst with strong business, analytical, social and communication skills. He worked in the User Needs Assessment group in Nortel for many years, and the last 14 years with the Government of Canada as a Business Analyst helping regulatory agencies.

Alec's career has been dedicated to the goal of aligning digital technology with business needs. Graduate studies in Psychology developed his unique skills in understanding and working with people. His certification in both quantitative and qualitative analyses and professional recognition as a focus group moderator attests to his interpersonal and facilitation skills. Alec holds a Master’s degree in Experimental Social Psychology with a minor in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Waterloo (1981). He has been a member of the IIBA since June of 2012 and recently received his CBAP and has a Professional Scrum Master Certification from Scrum.org

As VP of Member Services, Alec administers the chapter's membership database, organizational development and services delivered to the members.
