ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter is a non-profit organization, incorporated under the Ontario Corporations Act. Each June, we close our annual calendar of activities with our annual members' meeting.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF 2017 AGM

The next Annual General Meeting (AGM) of members of the Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA O-O) will be held on Tuesday, June 20st 2017, at the Ottawa Police Association.

The AGM is always a great opportunity to learn more about the Chapter and to voice your thoughts on future activities. The AGM is an important part of the Chapter's decision-making cycle and all are welcome to attend. There is no charge for the event.

AGM AGENDA:

The agenda for the Annual General Meeting will begin with the Annual Meeting of Members of the Corporation, which includes the President's and Treasurer's reports, any proposed by-law amendments, and the election of Officers to the Board of Directors, followed by a guest speaker presentation.

  • 5:00 to 5:30 pm - Registration, snacks and socializing
  • 5:30 to 6:00 pm - Meeting of the Corporation
  • 6:00 to 6:50 pm - Speaker Presentation and Q&A Session
  • 6:50 to 7:00 pm - Door prize
  • 7:00 to 8:00 pm - More socializing before we break for the summer!

The agenda items for the Meeting of Members of the Corporation (5:30-6:00) is listed below. All are welcome to participate in discussions, however only IIBA® members in good standing (see below) are eligible to stand for office and vote in the meeting.

  • President's Year-End Report and Future Plans
  • Treasurer's Report
  • Chapter Bylaw Amendment (none proposed)
  • Election of Officers to the Board of Directors
  • Closing and Adjournment

 

CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP:

Members of the IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais Corporation are eligible to stand for office and/or vote in the meeting.

All IIBA® members in good standing are eligible to join IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter as members of the Chapter corporation. There are no additional fees to join the Chapter but registration is required.

QUORUM:

The quorum for the Annual General Meeting is 5% of the eligible membership.
