The Chapter is run by a Board of Directors, elected by the membership. In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the Chapter, the Board of Directors is the legal authority for the IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais non-profit corporation.

As a member of the Board, a Director acts in a position of trust for the organization and is responsible for its governance. The Executive are volunteers who believe in the mission of the IIBA and in helping to grow Business Analysis as a thriving, recognized profession in the Ottawa-Outaouais region.

Candidate applications for the following positions will be accepted until June 6th, 2017.

Positions being Elected:

  • VP Professional Development (2 yrs)
  • VP Certification (2 yrs)
  • Treasurer (2 yrs) -  (Incumbent is a candidate)
  • VP Member Services (2 yrs) - (Incumbent is a candidate)

Positions being Appointed*:

  • Secretary (1 yr)
  • VP Marketing (1 yr)
  • VP Global Relations (1 yr)

* As per the bylaws, these are off-cycle appointments that can occur at the discretion of the Board.

The Chapter is an entirely volunteer-run organization. In addition to the Directors, the Executive Team includes several non-board volunteer positions that enable us to stage a diverse calendar of activities from September through June and manage organization year-round.
