Call for Nominations

The Chapter is run by a Board of Directors, elected by the membership. In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the chapter, the Board of Directors is the legal authority for the IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais non-profit corporation.

As a member of the board, a director acts in a position of trust for the organization and is responsible for its governance. The Executive are volunteers who believe in the mission of the IIBA and in helping to grow business analysis as a thriving, recognized profession in the Ottawa-Outaouais region.

Information on the Chapter's mission and objectives is available here. For an overview of the Board structure and profiles of current members, please visit the Governance section and the respective Board Member profiles.

Becoming a board member is both rewarding and challenging, and provides a unique learning opportunity.  New positions are announced in May each year.

Interested candidates should consult the Board Position Description for additional details. Applications may be submitted by email to at least one month prior to the date of the Annual General Meeting.

The slate of candidates, with their accompanying biographies, is posted on the New Positions and Candidates’ page one week prior to the AGM.

Non-Board Volunteers

The Chapter is an entirely volunteer-run organization. In addition to the Directors, the Executive Team includes several non-board volunteer positions that enable us to stage a diverse calendar of activities from September through June and manage organization year-round.
