EMILY TOM, CBAP®

Emily Tom is a Senior Business Analyst working as an independent consultant. She has over 20 years of experience working for both public-sector and private sector clients in the delivery of IT projects. Emily has performed business analysis tasks through all phases of the software development lifecycle, with particular expertise in requirements elicitation, requirements analysis and communication. Emily is responsive to stakeholders' needs. In addition to her broad skill set in business analysis, Emily possesses specific expertise in the Procurement industry, helping clients find ways to buy goods and services better, faster and cheaper.

In 2011, Emily achieved her CBAP certification.  She has served on the Board of Directors of IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter since 2012.

As Past President, Emily’s will ensure continuity by supporting the President and Vice Presidents and providing insight to IIBA Global policies and practices.
