AGM 2017
The 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of members of the Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA O-O) will be held on Tuesday, June 20 at the Ottawa Police Association. The AGM is an important part of the Chapter's decision-making cycle and all are welcome to attend.
IIBA® Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter is a non-profit organization, incorporated under the Ontario Corporations Act. Each June, we close our annual calendar of activities with our Annual General Meeting.
The AGM is always a great opportunity to learn more about the Chapter and to voice your thoughts on future activities. The AGM is also an important part of the Chapter's governance and decision-making cycle.
Seeking board members
The International Institute of Business Analysis’ Ottawa Outaouais Chapter, IIBA OO, is seeking new board members to sustain, improve and expand the activities our chapter offers. As a member or subscriber, you have a unique opportunity to join the board in increasing awareness and recognition of the business analysis profession.
As you are likely aware there are many benefits of being an IIBA member, such as access to resources and further developing your leadership skills and network, these benefits are enhanced through serving as a board member. In your profession, you pursue business efficiency and effectiveness, becoming an IIBA Board Member can improve your effectiveness in your role and broaden your network.
Volunteers who are CCBA® or CBAP® certified will also earn 1 CDU per hour of volunteer service to the Chapter.
IIBA is an independent professional association with the goal of creating greater awareness of the business analysis profession and its importance. It is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers. Recognized as the leading association for business analysis, IIBA has more than 25,000 members in 45+ countries. Members of IIBA have access to numerous resources through their affiliation with IIBA.
The board includes the traditional roles of a President, Treasurer, Secretary, as well as Vice Presidents overseeing diverse areas – VP of Certification, Communications, Marketing, Member Services, Professional Development, and Global Relations.
