BA Trailblazer | BA Beginnings: Requirements Methodologies Part 1 - Requirements Modelling
The BA Beginnings Trailblazer is an opportunity for new business analysts to connect and to discuss tools, techniques, and topics that will help guide their new careers in business analysis.
The ultimate objective of this BA Trailblazer series is to create a comfortable space in which new business analysts can help each other as they explore this new career path, all the while building professional relationships and BA skills. There will be an interactive and collective approach to the sessions where feedback and ideas will be used to determine the direction of the Trailblazer’s discussions as the series progresses.
In this session, participants will explore a common technique used as a method to specify and model the information gathered during elicitation and transform them into requirements and designs. Process modeling can help in describing complex processes in a way that would be difficult with words. This technique is an effective way to help with capturing and understanding the needs of stakeholders and a means to convey information in a way that can be understood by them.
