[VIRTUAL] ECBA™ / CCBA® / CBAP® STUDY GROUP – June 2023 SESSION: Chapter 11 Perspectives

Purpose of the Study Group

The purpose of monthly study group sessions is to provide an opportunity for business analysts considering or preparing to write the ECBA™, CCBA®, or CBAP® exam to talk with other like-minded individuals to review and discuss content in the BABOK®.  Each month we focus on a single chapter (or two) of the BABOK®, sharing perspectives on the content and answering questions amongst the group.  Time is dedicated to reviewing materials you will need to know for the exam. A quiz is offered at the end of the session to reinforce and assess the material covered. The session is facilitated by a CBAP-certified business analyst.

Overview of the Session

As a BA, understanding and adapting to the vast and shifting domain of business analysis is all part of the job. By looking at the practice of business analysis from different perspectives, we can see how best to apply the concepts and techniques identified throughout the BABOK for any type of initiative. In our June 2023 study group session, we will briefly review the five perspectives of business analysis found in chapter eleven.  

Since this is our final session before we break for summer, we will also hold a mini-exam and will review and discuss the answer for each question as we go. Following the mini-exam, it’s game time!
