January Meeting | Stories and Storytelling in Business

Why is storytelling the secret weapon that successful organizations routinely use to produce exceptional products? Simply put, stories are embedded in the human experience, as we are programmed to engage, consume and interpret stories from a young age. Come and learn how stories can be used to help a product team improve communication and deliver product strategy while preventing churning requirements. Stories convey what data cannot, meaning, emotion, and context. Stories are a a great means to connect disparate ideas. Come and learn how to use stories and storytelling to achieve better product results.

Join us to learn:

  • The when, why and how of storytelling in product strategy
  • How stories can improve the communication within teams

He is an outspoken advocate for design and delivers fun, memorable workshops around the city.

As a design consultant and business mentor, Ron has observed that sometimes organizations struggle to apply design effectively. Ron works with organizations to develop the design strategy and management practice needed for success. When Ron isn’t evangelizing the merits of design he can be found at a local ice rink with his kids or playing his guitar.
