June Meeting | AGM 2018 and "BA Short Talks"
The 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of members of the IIBA® Ottawa-Outaouais chapter is on Tuesday, June 19 at the Ottawa Police Association. The AGM is an important part of the IIBA® Ottawa-Outaouais chapter's decision-making cycle and all are welcome to attend. The IIBA® Ottawa-Outaouais chapter is a non-profit organization, incorporated under the Ontario Corporations Act. Each June, we close our annual calendar of activities with our Annual General Meeting. As an important part of the IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter's governance and decision-making cycle, the AGM is an opportunity to learn more about the IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter and to voice your thoughts on future activities.
The agenda for the Annual General Meeting will begin with the Annual Meeting of Members of the Corporation, which includes the President's and Treasurer's reports, any proposed by-law amendments, and the election of Officers to the Board of Directors. All are invited to participate in discussions, however only IIBA® members in good standing are eligible to stand for office and vote in the meeting.

*About the presentation:
For our June meeting and in the spirit of our IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter mission "Meet, Learn, Share", we are introducing a more casual format called "BA Short Talks".
What are “BA Short Talks”?
"BA Short Talks" are a series of 5 min presentations by Business Analyst professionals. The talks are business analysis focused on a topic outside of work. The 6 speakers will be talking about applying business analysis skills on home projects, travelling, family events, hobbies, or helping a child with career planning.
Joins us for a casual evening after AGM presentation and election. We are sure to learn something new as we are heading for our summer break.
