Facilitated by Patrick Egbunonu and Eric Osuorah

Overview & Purpose

When most individuals hear the term, “Blockchain”, the first thing that comes to mind is “Bitcoin”. But this technology has evolved beyond the scope of Cryptocurrencies.

Blockchain Technology is one of the most sought after and in demand topics in the world today. This a technology that will transform industries not only with the Financial sphere, but across Supply Chain Management, Technology (AI, IOT, Cloud), Retail, Government and so on.

Artificial Intelligence is quickly becoming ubiquitous even as more industries begin to look for opportunities to influence human capital, operational costs, company revenues and customer experience via AI applications.

The availability of big data and tremendous computing power (at reasonable cost) have expedited the adoption of machine learning to build much more intelligent systems, that can learn from data.

In the first half of the workshop Eric Osuorah will guide you through what Blockchain Technology is, its core principles, benefits, use cases and how this technology is impacting cross-industries in a positive way.

In the second half of the workshop, Patrick Egbunonu will explore the history of Artificial Intelligence in this presentation and, highlight a future where intelligent machines are more dominant across all sectors. The goal is to facilitate a discussion around, via use cases, on the role of the Business Analyst in a future that is "ruled by machines".
