Event Description
Complex initiatives pose unique challenges when it comes to designing and developing their solution. As technology and people continue to converge within organizations and the lines between the two become increasingly blurred, an overlooked requirement—whether from the business, stakeholders, or the solution—can lead to a painful physical redesign late in the process. Requirements tracking, or traceability, is critical to the success of your initiatives.
Learning Objectives
In this session you will learn:
- The definition of traceability of requirements.
- Reasons for creating traceability of requirements.
- How to build requirements tracing into your teams’ process, connecting teams and data as they go.
- How to prevent unexpected rework and reduce the risk of delayed product certification and customer (and company) catastrophes.
- Technological solution for requirement traceability.
