2020 GRAAL Award Winners

On June 22nd, the 8th edition of the GRAAL award (Grand Recognition of Achievement in Analysis and Leadership) was held virtually and gathered members of three IIBA chapters: Section Montréal (event host), Quebec Region, and, for the first time ever, Ottawa-Outaouais!

The jury was presided by Mr. Jacques Fiset, Treasurer IIBA Section Montréal, aided by Manon Sauvageau, IIBA Région de Québec and Lynn Moncion, IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais. Wendy Larocque, IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais, was the official observer, ensuring the rules were respected.

1st Prize

The 1st prize of the GRAAL 2020 went to Desjardins Entreprises, represented by Alejandro Flores Masa and Nancy Proulx (business analysts) for the project Five day - Simplification of the Credit Award Process. Congratulations!

2nd Prize

The 2nd prize was awarded to the project Evolution of Member Rebates from Mouvement Desjardins, represented by Serge Therriault, Francis Boussougou, France Gervais, Marie-Ève Giguère, Nadja Labrecque et Mélanie Leclerc, all business analysts. Congratulations!

3rd Prize

The 3rd prize was awarded to the project Bill Payment Cancellation from Fédération des Caisses Desjardins, represented by Christine Roy et Mohamed Bakiz, business analysts. Congratulations!

Once again, the quality of the work presented by all the candidates was exceptional and is a powerful demonstration of the impact that business analysis and business analysis professionals are making in their respective companies throughout Quebec and Eastern Ontario.
