IIBA harmonization is here!

Starting on May 4, 2021, the IIBA Chapter and Global Memberships are becoming one!

This is a quick overview of what this means for you.

What Does It Mean for You?

Because the IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter does not charge for Chapter Membership, this change does not affect you from the membership renewal perspective. However, affiliation with our Chapter remains dependent on membership in IIBA.

Harmonized IIBA Membership will expand your access to content from all 120+ Chapters and your ability to connect and engage within the IIBA community while learning from experts from around the world.

What about Chapter Events?

This initiative does not affect the great line up of events we prepare for you. From monthly meetings to trailblazers and study groups and more, we continue to offer great opportunities for learning and networking.

Chapter event fees will remain the same. The only thing that's changing is the ticket categories from 'Chapter Member' and 'Guest' to 'IIBA Member' and 'Non-Member', so now all IIBA Members will be getting the same preferred member discount.

What is Chapter Assignment?

To be affiliated with a specific Chapter, you either

• Update your IIBA profile and select your Chapter, or 
• A Chapter will be assigned to you automatically based on the address in your profile.
