Join the IIBA DC Metro, Nova Scotia, Palmetto, and Ottawa-Outaouais Chapters for this special Tools & Tech session as Lalitha Moodley shares prototyping tips and tricks using Figma.

Description:

The world is spinning faster, and so is the race to launch great ideas. But one pesky roadblock keeps tripping us up: getting everyone to agree. Let's face it — no one wants to read a 20-page document. That's where wireframes and prototypes save the day, turning "I don't get it" into "Oh, now I see!" In this interactive session, we'll explore how Business Analysts can use Figma to create basic wireframes and turn them into simple prototypes that wow stakeholders, speed up sign-offs, and make you look like a UX superhero.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the role of wireframing and prototyping in accelerating stakeholder alignment and decision-making.
  • Explore the capabilities of Figma for creating effective, low-fidelity wireframes.
  • Apply practical tips and techniques to design clear, user-focused wireframes.
  • Demonstrate how to transform wireframes into interactive prototypes using Figma — without coding or additional tools.
  • Build confidence in using Figma as a collaborative tool for Business Analysis and UX design.
