In this newsletter, I would like to welcome our new members and thank our existing members for being a part of our success story.
To keep up the positive energy that we started the season with, we are continuing our usual Chapter meetings, Lunch and Learn collaboration, and study groups. In addition, we have plenty of exciting news to share:
- New Board Member: We are currently onboarding a new board member—stay tuned for updates!
- In-Person Workshop: We are hosting our first in-person workshop on November 21st: "Creating a Practical BA Work Plan: From Project Confusion to Clear BA Direction." This workshop will bring immense value to attendees by answering fundamental business analysis questions. Early bird pricing is still available! For more information and to register, please visit our events page: Creating a Practical BA Work Plan: From Project Confusion to Clear BA Direction | Ottawa-Outaouais
- Student & Graduate Event: We are planning another event (hopefully in November) geared toward students and fresh graduates. Stay tuned for more details.
- Save the Date: On December 5, 2026, we will be celebrating our chapter’s 20th anniversary with an exceptional event. Be ready to secure your spot!
On a related note, as part of our strategy to strengthen our relationship and visibility with other professional organizations this year, we are working to participate in a major in-person event in Ottawa. As a quick teaser: mark your calendars for another outstanding opportunity on Friday, November 27, 2026. We will share more information as soon as it is confirmed.
While many of these initiatives are still in progress, I wanted to share them with you now for two reasons:
- To acknowledge the outstanding, behind-the-scenes efforts of our chapter volunteers and team members.
- To keep you informed so you can plan ahead and attend these events.
In closing, and as always, I would like to thank all of our chapter members, volunteers, and partners for your continued support and dedication to our community.
