Hi everyone.
It is hard to believe that I have had the privilege of being the President of the Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter for the past two years. With the amazing team of people I get to work with on the Executive Team, we’ve accomplished so much! I really hope you will come to our Annual General Meeting on June 17th, to celebrate this past season with the team.
I want to take this opportunity to thank a few particular individuals. Nancy Beatson for being the best coach an incoming President could have. Ziad Sakr for allowing me to transition to Past President, knowing this Chapter is in even better hands than my own. For Myla Hum, Ramya Dhyapa, Gloria Oyinbo, William Nelson Atoundem, and Judy Pin - I could not ask for a better team of VP’s and Executives to work with. Thank you for all of your support and hard work!
Before anyone misses me too much, I’ll still be around as the Chapter’s Past-President next year. This is the last page for this section of my life and I’ll be turning to a new page and continuing the journey of learning and building our community. I can not wait to see what the incoming Executive Team will plan for all of us and I’m counting on you to support them by joining in and making the most of what this chapter has to offer.
