New chapter president Ziad Sakr reflects on a season filled with events and the strong team spirit that drives our community. Looking ahead, he shares his enthusiasm for upcoming activities and gratitude to volunteers who make it all possible. With more opportunities to connect—through meetings, study groups, and special events—he invites members to be part of an exciting year ahead.
Hello everyone,
A new season is starting, with a lot of energy and positive vibes! We planned for more in-person events, and we delivered that, we had workshops, Hackathon, presidents’ dinner, and social gatherings. A huge shout-out to Emily Tom for organizing the events and for her unlimited support of the chapter. We also went further and continued our usual virtual events, as well as a very successful hybrid planning day. During these events, I learned how team spirit and the passion to give back are the key elements of our chapter.
We aim to connect more with business analysts and the community. We are planning for more events this season, along with our classic elements like our Monthly Chapter Meetings, our Monthly CBAP/CCBA/ECBA Study Group, and much more (keep an eye on our events calendar). Your chapter has lots in mind, and with the amazing group of volunteers we are planning for the coming months, stay tuned, I hope to see you there.
Special thanks to each and every volunteer who contributed to the chapter's success, and I would like to thank Helen Racette, our Past-President for her outstanding contributions to the chapter and to me personally, and looking forward to another successful and eventful season with the amazing team.
