IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais Executive Team

The IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais chapter's executive team is made up of directors who are elected by chapter members at the Annual General Meeting. The Executive team is supported by non-board support roles as needed.

Each board member performs a combination of governance, administrative, and operational roles. The Board of Directors meets on a regular basis to oversee the administrative affairs of the chapter and develop strategic plans for its growth, plan events, discuss guest speakers and provide direction for subcommittees.

ZIAD SAKR

Ziad Sakr, CBAP®, AAC, PMP® brings with him over 18 years of international experience in business analysis and project management. Currently, he holds the role of Business Analyst in the financial services and energy industries. Ziad has a BSc. in Economics and a Master of Business Administration.  Ziad looks forward to building a network of experienced professionals, contributing to the community, and promoting the business analysis culture by being a part of the IIBA Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter".

Treasurer

JUDY PIN

Experienced Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Business Analyst (CBAP®️) with 20+ years of expertise in finance transformation, ERP implementation, and process optimization. Skilled in leading cross-functional teams, process re-engineering, and implementing large-scale financial technology solutions. Adept at improving operational efficiency and driving technology adoption across the finance ecosystem.

As Treasurer, she oversees the management of funds for duly authorized purposes of the Chapter.

Vice President (VP) Communications 

MYLA HUM

Myla Hum, CBAP®️, is an independent business analyst consultant currently working for federal government department clients in the information technology industry. She started out as a software quality specialist in the private sector for a software technology company, and has since found her calling in business analysis as a second career. Myla is enthusiastic about learning new things and providing value to stakeholders and organizations by solving problems using various tools and techniques.

As VP of Communications, Myla is responsible for disseminating information to and from the Chapter membership and promoting IIBA® and the chapter through internal and external communications using various channels.

Vice President (VP) Professional Development 

WILLIAM NELSON ATOUNDEM ZEBAZE

William Nelson ATOUNDEM, CBAP®, CCA is a senior Business Analyst and Cybersecurity Specialist with over 9 years of experience. He currently works in a leading Canadian cooperative financial group as part of their cybersecurity program, focusing on threat response and mitigation. As a Certified SAFe Practitioner and an ambassador for generative artificial intelligence, William brings a unique blend of skills to his role. He specializes in leveraging emerging technologies to enhance cybersecurity measures and optimize business processes.
 
In his role as VP of Professional Development, William is committed to fostering growth within the Business Analysis community. He develops engaging programs and workshops that empower professionals to adapt to the evolving landscape of Business Analysis.
 

Vice President (VP) Certification 

EDWINE JOB

Edwine is an experienced business analyst with a background in business process improvement. She worked on a digital transformation initiative where she supported the implementation of several information technology systems, which sparked her interest in technology and operational change. She transitioned to IT and has led several projects, worked on request for proposals for third-party solutions and led a small team of developers for the development of in-house solutions. She now works as a Lead Analyst in IT Security, focusing on governance, risk and compliance and helping business units adopt secure and safe use of technology.

LU YAO 

Lu is a Senior Systems Analyst specializing in system integrations, on-premises-to-cloud transitions, and process improvement, with expertise in Learning Management, HR, and Payroll systems. She is recertifying her CBAP and expanding her toolkit to streamline cloud-based integrations.
 
Throughout her career, she has helped businesses transform their systems and workflows—but early on, she realized that lasting change demands more than technical skills alone. Discovering IIBA and the BABOK framework was a game-changer “it gave me a structured approach to eliciting needs, designing solutions, and driving measurable impact”.
Now, she is volunteering with IIBA Ottawa chapter to champion and spread the power of business analysis—because when change is rooted in clarity and purpose, organizations don’t just adapt; they excel. “It’s an honor to be part of that mission”.

Vice President (VP) Marketing

GLORIA OYINBO 

Gloria Oyinbo, CBAP®️, SMC, PMP, MBA, is a seasoned professional with over seven years of extensive experience across the Banking, Information Technology, and Real Estate sectors. Her diverse career has seen her excel as a Project Manager and Business Analyst. Gloria leverages her expertise to drive digital transformation projects for a wide range of clients. She holds an MBA in Project Management from the Catholic University of Spain (UCAM) and an Extended Diploma in Business Management (Operations & Project Management) from Westford University College.

Her journey into the professional world began with a foundational role in marketing at a real estate company, where she honed her skills in market analysis and customer engagement.
Beyond her professional life, Gloria is dedicated to continuous learning and personal development. She frequently attends industry conferences and workshops to stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in her field.

Gloria thrives on meeting new people and is deeply committed to creating value and making a positive impact in her community. Her enthusiasm for connecting with others and her drive to foster meaningful change make her a standout leader and an inspiration to her peers.

HELEN RACETTE

Helen Racette, PEng, CBAP®, P2P has led a number of IT and controls projects in the private and public sectors for over 20 years.  From working for an original “Deming’s Disciples” on Statistical Process Control, through the origins of Six Sigma with experience in the automotive industry, to the application of Lean Six Sigma in Nortel as well as Medical and Pharmaceutical manufacturers throughout North America, she constantly strives to develop and share best-in-class deliverables with her teams and clients.  Helen currently works for Health Canada in their Digital Transformation Branch. Helen passed the CBAP® exam in 2017, has been a past speaker at Capital BA Day, and is always looking to expand her network and help share her knowledge while continually learning from others.

As President, Helen is responsible for ensuring that the chapter's activities continue to align with its strategic goals and provide value to its members.
