IIBA® Ottawa-Outaouais is pleased to host a full-day workshop, "Introduction to Discovery Driven Innovation", as part of the Chapter’s growing Skills™ Workshops and Masterclasses - a professional development series designed specifically for BAs by BAs.

Facilitated by Michael Lachapelle

Overview and Purpose

In every organization there is a tension between the execution of current business and the development of new business, and new products and services. Where execution builds on the known and the predicted, innovation concerns itself with the unknown and the uncertain. These two complementary elements of business require two very different approaches.

In this workshop Michael Lachapelle will guide you through the important building blocks of a discovery driven innovation approach. He will introduce and walkthrough the discovery mindset, methods and some of the important tools for innovation. Participants will be in engaged in peer discussions and hands on exercises of some tools.
