IIBA® Ottawa-Outaouais in collaboration with Chapter sponsor Algonquin College Corporate Training is pleased to host a full-day workshop on "Strategy Analysis – Understanding Business needs" as part of the Chapter’s growing Skills™ Workshops and Masterclasses - a professional development series designed specifically for BAs by BAs.

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

The Strategy Analysis knowledge area of BABoK v3 (Section 6) describes the business analysis work that must be performed to collaborate with stakeholders in order to identify a need of strategic or tactical importance (the business need), enable the enterprise to address that need, and align the resulting strategy for the change with higher- and lower-level strategies.

How many times have you faced the challenge of dealing with clients who see the business in very different ways? How do you build alignment and communicate strategic directions across the business?

In this workshop Michael Lachapelle will guide you through understanding business models and the use of the business model canvas (Section 6.1.6) as a tool to build strategic alignment, communicate the business, create innovation and support critical decisions.
