Embracing the Colors of Fall

What do the colours of Fall and Business Analysts have in common? While the membership in the Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter range near and far, for those of us in the area, it is a vibrant time of year. Like Business Analysts, we come in many colours, and there’s always at least once in a cycle where people can’t help but notice and admire us. And yes, we can sometimes make a mess, like a pile of fallen leaves, or are we really just a secret source of fun. We always return vibrant and ready to go for more. 

The event listing will give you all the details on some wonderful events coming, but I wanted to give you my personal invitation to YOU, and encourage you to come to one of our monthly meetings. The Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter is making our monthly meetings FREE for IIBA members. We felt it was important to demonstrate some extra value for your IIBA membership, especially during these economic times we now live in. That’s FREE CDU’s towards your certification renewal, a chance to network with fellow BA’s, and learn something new, just for attending a free monthly event!

I know myself, personally, am very much looking forward to the upcoming collaboration with our chapter, Nova Scotia, Palmetto in North Carolina, and DC Metro in Virginia, with the Technique Boutique series starting off with data flow diagrams. I hope to see you there, or at one of our other wonderful events.
