VISHWANATH SOLLAPURA

Vishwanath Sollapura, is a research and data analytics professional with over 15 years of diverse experience under various roles in both the federal government and healthcare industry. He has expertise in requirements elicitation, research, analysis, documentation and project management. Recently, Vishwanath has been working towards gaining advance data science skills in the areas of AI, predictive analytics and data visualization. He holds a doctoral degree in biology from Carleton University and has a strong background in statistics, big data analysis, and bioinformatics. He is a certified scrum master and has a certificate in business analytics from Harvard Business School.

Vishwanath’s interest and passion for problem-solving and to provide business solutions using business analysis skills drew him to IIBA and he wants to help people find a place within it. As the Director-at-Large, Vishwanath is looking to provide outreach services and collaborate with regional IIBA chapters and other professional associations to promote chapter activities and IIBA brand. He will be looking at the latest business analysis topics, technology trends and issues to share with the local business analyst community. Furthermore, he will be providing support to assist other board members in chapter operations.

As Director-at-Large, Vish contributes and makes a positive impact on the professional growth of business analysts in the BA community.
